1) Is my donation to ARCH Community Housing Trust tax deductible? 

Yes, ARCH Community Housing Trust is a 501c3 charitable organization.

2) How do I qualify / get on the "list" for affordable housing? 

Complete an application on this website or on the BCHA web site...we share one data base.

3) Housing prices have dropped, why do we need affordable housing? 

Housing prices are lower but still not affordable.  The average home price in the north valley is still over 1 million dollars.  In the south valley it is over $250,000.  The national average is $178,000.

4) What is the difference between ARCH and BCHA? 

ARCH Community Housing Trust is a private charitable organization working to actively create affordable housing.  We are a community land trust (see www.cltnetwork.org) and a designated Community Housing Development Organization as defined by Idaho Housing Finance Association ( see www.ifha.org) we work closely with BCHA who administer the list of applicants seeking affordable housing.  BCHA is the municipal housing organization for Blaine County and they are funded by the local municipalities.  Visit the BCHA web site at www.bcoha.org
