Real Financial Help for Real People will extend ARCH’s financial planning, credit counseling, foreclosure intervention and short-term assistance during mortgage modification services to a greater number of families and individuals in need of financial help. The objective is to become a countywide resource for families on careful and successful homeownership.

Real Financial Help for Real People includes:

• Quarterly credit counseling/financial literacy classes taught by NeighborWorks certified counselors.
• Foreclosure intervention counseling.
• Broader outreach including redesigned website, credit segment on KECH radio, and continued poster campaigns.
• A $5,000 short-term relief fund for individuals and families going through mortgage modification.
